Here's our veggie garden in the beginning. I had no idea how the garden was going to do, but worth a shot to get some home grown veggies!!
Eli and I went to the zoo with a Sammamish mommies group. I only got 2 pics, but we had a good time! The Giraffes where crossing below and we got to see the new flamingo exhibit. Eli was most curious about those.
pool time! Eli loves splashing in his pool. Our backyard is a wonderful shaded place after 3pm and I feel ok about bringing him outside nookie-buts! poor little guy is quite fare skinned. Just like his parents, I guess!

AGH! you a so squeezabley cute!!
My mom sent Eli his first Louisville Slugger baseball bat!
yep...that's about right!! we'll get you swinging that bat in no time, little man!
Finger foods are new for Eli. The mushy stuff is preferred for now. These are apricots below. He likes the puffs, which easily dissolve into his mouth, but we've tried some melon and found they where a little too hard for him for now. poor guy! he just gags and then pukes it up (lovely, I know) So, we'll just take it slow...one fruit at a time!
Eli loves to swing! I try and take him to the park down the street regularly (and a good walk for me :) he loves other kids too...just watching them play makes him smile! He's such a sweet boy.
swinging is even more fun when Papa is there!
yeah! here's our garden now. I cannot believe how fruitful it's been! we're so excited to start picking and eating. What a cool experience. I've learned already that my tomato plants are too close together!! whoops!
peas! hmm...the carrots didn't show up! oh well. I guess they are a little harder to harvest from seeds.
I posted some of these earlier (10 on 10). Eli got a new little toy and he really loves playing with it! they are stackable balls. he likes banging them together and singing/shouting as he does so!
you crack up!!
This past weekend my in-laws where here for a visit! We went to the Redmond Derby Days in Downtown Redmond. It's really crazy how fast these bicyclists ride!! I do NOT ride fast around corners or hills on my bike. It's scares the you know what out of me!! so, I applaud these men below!
Eli and Grammy!
Eli's first taste of Hawaiian shaved ice! (not the REAL thing, unfortunately, but refreshing none the less!)
not sure?!
oh yeah! digging into some funnel cakes.
there they go!
We went to the park on Sunday and Eli got to go for a swim (sort of).what's up with the frazzled hair?!

It looks like I'm taking random pictures of people on the beach...well, if you look a little closer, there's a bald eagle diving into the lake for a fish...and yep! he caught one!! pretty cool!
what a nut! so, Eli isn't crawling yet. He's pretty content with just sitting and playing without toys if he has to, as I'll push everything out of reach to get him to reach for it and he'll try all right, but then be just fine without the toys. With that said, I found him in his crib, after a nap, sideways kicking and laughing!! he's scooting around! other moms say I should count my blessings as I don't have to keep my eye on him 24/7. I guess so ;)
I am so blessed. I still can't believe I get to be at home with this precious little boy. God is so good! We praise and thank Him for the many blessings in our lives! What an amazing God we have :)
