The kids always want to feed them or help in some way, so it's been really good so far!
Justin is still building the run, so it will be a little bigger, but we don't mind letting them out to run and scratch around :)

chickens!
We've picked up some chickens! They are 2-3 month old Buff Orpingtons, though we don't know who's a hen or rooster till, well, till the Rooster crows one of these mornings! Then we'll just take them to the butcher :( but, we're mostly in it for the eggs. They've been great with the kids. They don't try to chase or peck at them.
The kids always want to feed them or help in some way, so it's been really good so far!
